In 2013 Health Education North Central and East London, Health Education North West London and Health Education South London have all commissioned expert simulation teams in their areas to deliver train the trainer courses to develop new facilitators skilled in delivering simulation-based training.

While each course is different, reflecting the different expertise of the faculty, all are suitable for staff involved in training from all professions – doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.

Each course looks at participants developing an understanding of human factors and their impact on patient safety, crisis resource management, effective team work, advanced observational and debriefing skills.

For more details, contact the simulation centre delivering the training.

Courses in each LETB area are only available to staff employed by an organisation in the same area, for example staff employed by an NHS Trust in North West London must attend one of the HENWL commissioned courses.
